Ceciley Dunnigan Jenkins recent collection of work explores movement and form in bright relief paintings that combine water and knife work.
Jenkins was admitted to The Kendall College of Art and Design, based on her portfolio of pencil drawings, at the age of 16. As a painter, Jenkins is self-taught. She strives for a sense of emotional immediacy, which she achieves through a unique use of bold color and blank canvas space.
